Dateline Sacramento -  "The Sports Guy" Pat Walsh from KFBK 1530 AM landed a knockout punch earning him a new title to his broadcasting career. This week Pat announced that he will be stepping into the ring along with legendary fight promoter Don King, this coming Saturday at Arco Arena.


CelebrityScribbleArt.Com knows that Pat never answers his phone during his favorite television show, but this time he did and was surprised to hear a raspy voice yell, "Pat Walsh, this is Don King, you've been on my mind since last week."

King was referring to the interview with the Sports Guy Pat Walsh in his recent visit to Sacramento. King is promoting Championship Boxing and as the "king" of PR he realized the power of Walsh and the loyalty of his listeners.

By the end of the conversation Pat found himself to be King's latest addition to an impressive list of live ring announcers. Look for Pat in his debut on Showtime. (Check local listings)

The great occasion came just two days after Pat announced that he was hired as the Sports Crime Reporter for the longest running crime center on the internet....www.Arrested.Com.

Founder of Arrested.Com is Celebrity Scribble Artist Tony Cox.  Cox has had a long time working relationship with Walsh on and off the radio.

• The Sports Guy, Rams it! 
       Pat Walsh, sports caster for KFBK 1530 AM in Sacramento, Ca., rammed his scribble on to the paper. Jonbeile had no idea he was a Los Angeles Rams fan while sitting on the dock of the bay at Fisherman's Wharf. Deep in San Francisco 49er territory. It's great to get out of the studio and draw real life as it unfolds. Just find a spot where hundreds of tourist pass by, sit down on the sidewalk or in this case the dock and start drawing. People are there to see new things and explore new places and people, so give it to 'em all in one spot. Is an artist painting Pat Walsh's scribble and autograph something to explore? Well apparently so because their must have been 20 or so people standing over Jonbeile watching him paint the Gulls at any given time that afternoon. My friend and I had been doing a little exploring of our own and we saw lots of artists in the parks and on the streets but none of them were painting. Most were just reading a book or something with paintings on display like a garage sale or something. So we sat Jonbeile down on the ground at the busiest though fare and he went at it. People stopped and looked and talked about everything from abstract art to Pat Walsh and even football. We made a lot of friends that day on the dock of the bay and, "It All Started with a Pat's Scribble"!
